This is a difficult question to answer, as you never know who is doing the install, or their back ground with PPF installation however, there are dealerships that do have very good installers, but they are few and far between. The installers at the dealership level generally received no formal training, and learned as they go type of training, or were promoted from the lot staff, detailer to window tint and PPF installer.  The installer is generally underpaid and over worked which is passed on to your install. As we all know the dealership is there for profit. If they find a similar product at a cheaper cost they will usually jump on it to save a buck, passing the lack of quality onto your new PPF installation. The reason I bring this question up is because on a monthly basis I have clients come into the store with sub standard installations and a large majority of the time they used a large dealership for the installation.

I have to say we have actually been using this platform, Mobile Paint Protection Film Installation and I beleive it's a  viable option for most clients. Should I let the dealership install my paint protection film?

I, like most other Installers in this field deal with this topic on a weekly basis. As we all know, "Cheaper doesn't necessarly mean better."
